Selling my Vision, this is an 82 with 8K miles on it (yes, 8k).
Its not running, so it may require work or is a good parts bike.
In the late 90's, I tuned it, put new tires on, and it was running great. But then I noticed the center line of the
rear tire was rubbing against the exhaust crossover. I
never could figure out why. The rear tire seems to be the correct size, and everyhing else seems rigid. So I stopped riding it because the tire (though new) was shredding. It has
not been started up in several years.
Definely needs exhaust pipes, seat is cracked, but everything
else should be good. Stator was replaced years ago.
I am interested in the bike. It is 10 days later and it is problably gone, but if it isn't drop me a line with your number and I'll be in touch. Live in the Bay area so I can come get it pretty quickly.
I know you sold your Vision, but if you have any contact with the person you sold it to, he or she might be interested in knowing that I have two Visions for sale (one 82 and one 83). The 83 runs, somewhat, and the 82 is a parts bike that has been stored inside for years! The seat on the 82 is PERFECT, and I'd be willing to sell it. If the person who bought your bike is interested, pass on my email address:
