Hi, I'm a new fan of Charmaine. I came across one of Charmaine's old series with Benny Chan recently. Its an ancient costume drama where Benny is the emperor of China and I think Charm plays a dual role as the empress and an assasin on the first episode. My question is what is the title of the show and was it all filmed in mandarin coz I saw it in a friend's house and it was in mandarin. Besides the two of them, I dont recognised the other artistes.

Well I haven't heard about this news so don't know if it's true are not I know that charm will have a concert in toronto on teh casino ranma in 30 oct with kevin and myolie so I'm not sure about the charm, ray and benny thing I can search around and see if I can't find something

Well the titel for this serie is Qian Long Xia Jiang Nan and the english titel is The Voyager Of Emperor Qian Long to the West something like that don't really remember the exactly eng titel. And yes the serie was filmed in mainland china so there aren't any TVB starts their apart from charm and benny hope this help

lol.. she's always on the newspaper. what are you talking about? hehe.. TVB just released a ten golden year magazine featuring charmaine, gigi, moses, bowie, myolie, etc. she's currently filming an ancient series with Jordan Chan and Michael Tse. hope that helps!

First of all I want to say hello and I'm happy that u think this site is ok. I'm one of the moderators here if u want to read her latest news u can always go to sehseh's blog and read she often update charms news.

ok back to charms news and what she is doing lately.
she is busy filming with Jordan chan and Micheal Tze for a ancient commedy :D, also she have attend a 3D gold store oppening in mainland china. and there are papparazi that have take pics of charm when she was out for a shopping tore.
I don't know what she will do on her b-day that is in next monday but I hoping for some rest time for her so she can celebrate it. :D

Its a bad news. Why? Because Myolie Wu won'My Favourite Leading Actress'in Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Award 2006. I am dissapointed. I voted Charamaine but,unfortunately,Myolie won. So,please keep supporting Charmaine in the future. I hope next year she can win this award and become number 1. Charmaine,we always support you....

Yeah, I'm sure Charm will be No 1 again next year coz her 2006 series r queing up in Astro WLT Channel. After all this year Drama Award r not so fantasticlah. Some series r so,so to me.
Next years award will have a tough fight for Best Actress and Best Drama coz there is Charm, Ada, Sheren, Gigi and etc,

I was not so supprise when I saw that myolie won the best actress I mean her character in TBOL was one of her best serie and character and for charm her character in YY wasn't that strong and it is not her best serie or character. so it's great that her get an award. I hope that LWOLAP will been aired in maylasia so she can get the best actress, fave character and best parnership :D

I like those songs in Glittering Days so much, especially sang by Charmaine.
Sehseh, you uploaded those MP3 is nice, unfortunately it is too short. Do you know is there any Soundtrack CD's out there for this "Glittering Days" Series ?
Now I just keep repeating the few songs which is very short. I hope to hear it longer for the songs (Charmaine songs). Or are there more full version of this songs (sang by Charmaine) ?

Yea, just like everyone else. So busy working, working & working (some studying :P )
Whenever I got a chance to open up the PC, I will visit every possible Website/Blog/Forum related to Charmaine which is everyday except I'm not at home that day :P
Even though I was busy working (on the Computer), I will take a brief of time to take a glance at Charmaine news Sometimes, I also copy some of the news into the Flash Drive and bring it to office to read it. LOL. For you info, I'm also working at home after office hours.....
Maybe also Charmaine has not visit Malaysia recently (this whole year), making me not so active. (so moody missing Charmaine .... ) Maybe next time Charmaine visit Malaysia again, I will be forgot all my work again.... Am I bad ? :P
Anyway, I will always support Charmaine & Happy she got the Best Actress :D

The award start at 9.30pm, but I think they'll save the Best Actress award to the end of the night. I'd be glued to the internet from 11pm onward.
Regarding her competition, before this I was worried that Myolie will win due to the hype of TGWL, but from recent reports and comment from her series, my worries lessened. If Charmaine loss to Myolie, I'll feel sorry for Myolie because she'll be forever branded winning due to hype and not merits of her acting capability. She's good, but not there yet.
p.s. A lot of people say how unfair that Charmaine was nominated for two spots. Come on, TVB is not that tactless. They may be obvious but certainly not so tactless. If there were other actress that was a good, surely the votes will be enough to propel them to top 5. Honestly, I can't think of anyone. Melissa maybe, but she'll be just a slot filler.

I'm pretty happy that Charmaine got nominated twice, but because if this fans of other actresses are bashing Charmaine whenever they have the opportunity to do it. This is what I call a fair game. If you look at the angle of acting and hardwork, Charmaine deserved to be nominated for two roles/votes.
In DOP almost everyone like the chracter Chun Fun not bcoz of her sad story, it is more on how she carries the character and gives viewers a lasting impression and rememberance.
In MV her 4 era character acting is also to be pround of. I remember Liza Wang mentioned that acting in a series with so many character is unique and extraordinary.
As her fan I can see clearly what is a citeria of a good actress. Maggie Cheung Man Yuk is an example.

About voting at TVB.com for Charmaine in "TVB Anniversary Award", it is not necessary to join "The International Fan Club" or "Charmaine Sheh Malaysia Fan Club". This is 2 different matters.
If you failed in the 1st steps (tvb.com membership registration),
make sure you fill-in something in the red asterisk parts (*), otherwise it failed,
notice the following;
i) if it doesn't accept your input email address, try different email address. (tvb.com will email you for confirmation, expect that email later)
ii) some categories if you not sure, just choose OTHERS.
iii) address, simply input long enough address if you don't want to reveal it on the net.
iv) Telephone, simply input enough numbers inside.
v) UN-TICK the "Please email me ....." if you don't want to get SPAM :D
vi) TICK the last part "I agree to the membership ........" then click SUBMIT.
After clicking the SUBMIT button, if it failed again, it will wrote there which category you haven't fill-in or invalid information is provided, back again to re-fill that categories.
That's all for voting.
Nor does she have friendster, myspace, etc. because she doesn't have the time.
Charmaine DOES NOT go online, so beware of imposters. She use to have an email address at tvb.com, but her manager handle all her emails. She normally leave mesg through her manager at www.shehsheh.com.

Is that necessary to vote at least 1 in each categories? Because I only choose Charmaine Sheh name on two categories & click confirm, it has some error pop up. I just randomly choose others :D
After choose all & confirm, some pop up appear & I click OK. Then it automatically view back the voting pages. Is that pop up appear showing I has voted successfully ?

It seems quiet nowadays, maybe Charmaine don't have many events for us here in Malaysia. So my blog didn't update a long time already, no self-exprience events for me too ... swt... Only re-upload those files who requested for it. I came here everyday to watch over Charmaine news, just the quiet types now, not too active in talking
