many camp fliers @ end of season

At the Banquets (JR high & HS) there should be stacks of camp fliers. I would suggest starting off with a technique camp and each year getting more intense. Let your son make the ultimate choice because these camps can be REALLY intense.

A little story about camps:
I went to ASU intensive the summer after 9th grade. A guy that I went nose to nose with all year was at the same camp, but did the non-intensive technique. The following year I placed at masters and he didn't.
I know there's lots of "grey area" in the story, but bottom line is, you get more live mat time at Intensive camps.

summer camps:
LCC
Fullerton
almost any college (choose one with a good team)

More important than summer camps are off season freestyle tournaments
