A Cause that is Very Important to Me
byFor all of my high school career, I received consant support on the mat. Now I am asking for your support off the mat. In November, I will embark on a great experience that means a lot to myself and to others. I will be walking in the Susan G Koman Breast Cancer 3-Day with my mom and my girlfreind's family. We are walking 60 miles in three days, and look to raise over $14000 among the six-person team.
I am walking in memory of my grandma, Irene, who died of ovarian and lung cancer in 2004. She was one of the strongest people I have ever known, and her positive attitude in her limited time was very inspirational. I am also walking for anyone who has ever lost someone or whoh is battling breast cancer or any other cancer.
I am asking for anyone who wishes to donate to give what they can. The proceeds from all donations go to Susan G Koman for the Cure.
