The week before last the children learned about a very important symbol of our country. We also discussed symbolism and othe US symbols.
Our main focus was on the history and building of the Statue of Liberty. Please go over this information with them. They all have it in their folders. There is a quiz on the subject also in their folders. (if you can't find it you can go onto Enchanted Learning)
I will not be giving a test on US History this Tuesday, but I highly encourage the children to hang on to everyting I give them. I will be asking for a report on their favorite US history subject covered. It will be due on the 26th.
