Hmm.. sounds a bit far-fetched to me, but you never know.
Golden Globe possibilities seem much more likely, in my opinion.
A lot of critics (notably Roger Ebert) loved Adams in Junebug, so if she does get another nomination, I reckon it'll be either because there isn't much competition in the Best Actress category, or because the AMPAS feel like they should credit Adams for her past work as well.
Well, anyone with half a heart had to have loved the trailer, and I think Adams looks extraordinary. However, I do not think that she will get an Oscar nod. At least...not yet. But I do think it'll be a GG hit, and, if the reviews are as strong as the trailer makes them look to be, some Oscar attention is not out of the question.

Just got back from the film at London Film Festival...
This buzz is for real, you guys. Amy Adams not only merits a nomination but she could be a real contender for the win. It's not just a one dimensional character, there is character development and several "Oscar" scenes in which she does a fantastic job.

Even though she got screwed out of the win for her role in Junebug (and she did really get screwed), I think talk of a nomination for her role in Enchanted is ridiculous.
