I had a dream last night that i presented the oscar for best actor at this year. as i announced the nominees, i kept wighing the chances for langella, rourke and penn. i kept saying to myslef, "dude, anyone can win, but i think langella will get it." low and behold, as i read the ballot, langella was the winner. when he came up to accept, he did it in character as richard nixon, make-up, suit and all.

i don't beleive much in supersitions, but could this be a sign?

Adam, I think you need to stop eating spicy food before you go to bed. LOL. I think Frank Langella has a bigger shot than most people are giving him credit for. All Frank Langella needs is a little more than a third of the support. If Rourke and Penn cancel each other out than Langella could win by a few votes.

i knew i shouln't have eaten that leftover chicken curry last night. hahaha. i acompletely agree. i see it this way... much like the site does...\

penn's won recently, he has the SAG

rourke's nomination is a reward for a great comeback. he's recieved the praise, the globe and he now has academy award nominee attached to his name.

langella is a veteran, has the recognition, and i believe may also have the full support of older, more conservative voters b/c rourke has a rough history and penn's role deals w/ a subject not too warm to conservatives.

i am convinced langella will get it.

I think the real question is what were you doing presenting Best Actor? Did you win Best Actress the previous year?

I'd be really happy if Langella won, but I honestly can't see an upset like that happening.
