Its a shame that there is so much hate towards this film. It was beautiful. Hugh Jackman gave an oscar worthy performance. It was emotionally driven and had a terrific story.
Its amazing that the same guy who directed this directed The Wrestler.

I think Arronofsky has gone three for three with his last three films. Requiem for a Dream is a masterpiece and should have been nominated for Best Picture. I loved The Fountain also. And The Wrestler proves that Arronofsky continues to be one of americas greatest film makers.

I also loved The Fountain and theink that Aranofsky has the makings to be one of the great American directors of the age. If it was nominated for anything it should have been nominated for Clint Mansell's awesome score. I'm still listening to it after two year lol.
