This trailer is incredible, and I've always been a fan of Gellar. This is a nice indie film, based on a well-loved novel, and rumor has it Focus Features has distribution rights in the U.S. This year's Anne Hathaway? (I HOPE SO!)

WHY do people type as anonymous. It gets really annoying. WHY must one not say who they are? I mean... this is a place to say your opinion - so please - just use your name.

And you know - Gellar has a lot going for her. She's been in the industry since she was a teenager, she's in the media a lot (with her pregnancy and other things) and she just came off of a critically acclaimed performance (in "The Air I Breathe"). Add on she is starring with some well-respected actors such as Daniel Thewlis and recent Oscar nominee Melissa Leo, Focus Features possibly picking it up, and the fact that its based on a novel that many consider exceptional by an author who is really respected... I think this film has a lot going for it, especially Gellar.

Maybe this year's Hathaway? Possibly a snubbed Maggie Gyllenhaal in 2006? I don't know - but this seems like a strong indie contender, so I'd say at least keep your eye open "Anonymous". wink.gif

Amen to that Douglas! Enough with the frickin anonymous. I think it could go either way. It could be this years Anne Hathaway and she could get some awards loving, or it could go the way of Michelle Williams last year for Wendy and Lucy. A critically acclaimed performance in a film that tanked! Also nice to see Melissa Leo again. Although she does have like eight films coming out this year so we will be seeing her alot.

wah wah wah, know i'll never know who said that, what has this world come to when people post anonymously....pleeeeeeeeassssse. everyone has the right to post however the hell they want to, and if you don't like it, then that's too damn bad. if i said something insulting to someone, then it will be an issue, but seeing how i didn't, I don't see why people rather piss themselves. all this whining only makes a ****** want to post more anonymously.
