Wow, 87 million. I really thought there was going to be a backlash from all the negative talk from the leak. But obviously not. I was thinking 50-60 mil. at best. Was I way off. Anyway, I saw the movie and I didn't think is was that bad. It's not even my kind of genre I go for, but I have seen way worse than this movie. I don't get the 35% approval rating. It's like there was a critical pile on. Like I said before, you have see worse, believe me.

I'm very proud of the fact that this week I called its 87 mill on the button, every weekend I try to predict BO leader next weekend this was the first time I've ever been right dead on. Personally I thought it was a great film, the best of the all the X-Men's I'm like the only person who thinks that though, just like last year I was the only one who thought Incredible Hulk was much better then Iron Man.

In my opinion, this film was great. It delivered with exactly what I was hoping for - a good story with strong actors filling the lead roles along with some of the best action sequences seen in recent years.
Gavin Hood should seriously consider becoming a full-fledged action director, since he greatly impressed me with his capabilities in this film. I am very upset that many critics have dumped on this film, but I think it has to do with the fact that they looked at it as a serious piece of filmmaking.
I mean, was Iron Man really that serious of a film? I agree completely with Andrew on his comparison with The Incredible Hulk vs. Iron Man last year.
Overall, I thought that Iron Man was too fun, while The Incredible Hulk provided me with what I was hoping for.
