Does anyone else think that District 9 culd be really good?

I mean not an Oscar contender, but actually really effective and a fresh take on the whole aliens-coming-to-earth thing. The trailer was really good and pretty realistic and the Solaris music during it just made it better.
I think it looks really good and am definitely looking forward to it. Any thoughts?
