He won Best Actor at Cannes and after reading the script I can see him being a big threat in the Supporting Actor category. The role is super juicy, and equally difficult so difficult and essential that Tarantino said if he had not found the right actor for the part he would have just published the script and not made the film. The character has like 5 monologues at least throughout the film and uses various accents and languages, I think we all need to watch out for "The Jew Hunter"!

Word of mouth is spreading strong and wide that he is derserving of a supporting actor nod and the film fails without him.
