There is NO WAY Emily Mortimer could get BSA nominations for Shutter Island. She's in only one scene, the entire film isn't about her, actually she's not even important one. She's a MacGuffin. She appears very early of the film and disappears.

I am glad you said something about this because I had heard the same thing. I wasn't going to post this until it was verefied by someone else. Patricia Clarkson needs to be in the predicted five right now. It was a great performance and she steals the movie. Also its Woody Allen, I have a feeling he is going to be on another streak getting his female actors some gold.
