Anyway, I want to bring up a few other cinematographers I'd seriously be looking at for Oscar consideration.
Dion Beebe, who has been twice nominated and won for Memoirs Of A Geisha, will be strongly considered for Nine. Don't even bat an eyelash he will. The film is going to lead the Oscar's in nominations.
But also who should consideration is Stephen Goldblatt who shot Julie and Julia, who is a two time nominee, and Roger Deakins, who is also one of the revered dp's in the biz, for A Serious Man. I wouldn't be sleeping on these guys. They aren't even mentioned.
