anyone else unimpressed by Public Enemies? i mean, Christian Bale was unimpressive, i feel as though Depp compromised his talent to a degree, and the cinematography was horrible. Billy Crudup was the only worthwhile part of the film in my opinion.

I was underwhelmed as well. I think I had way too high expectations and that's my fault. I didn't think it was bad, in fact many parts were entertaining, it's just a good flick, not a great one. I can't believe some people are predicting a Best Picture nod. There is still a lot of movies to be seen yet.
