Shouldn't we at least consider him for Big Fan? Looks great in that. Same writer for the Wrestler, and look how Mickey Rourke turned out.

The movies does look funny but I highly doubt we can give him a chance for Oscar worthy. I mean he's playing a fat loser, not a big stretch for him.

Actually, he's not a fat loser. If you had done your homework Tony you would see that he has actually worked with a lot of Academy Members before in the past. Also, he does a lot of volunteer work for the film society. So, in actuality he does stand a good chance of a nomination. Don't get people mixed up with characters they play.

And if you had common sense, that is what I meant, the characters he plays. (PS, I like Patton Oswalt.)

And he doesn't have a good chance at a nomination. Maybe somewhere between the 5-10% range.

Sorry Tony, but you saying he's playing a fat loser and that it's not a big stretch for him, then you are saying that he himself is a fat loser, and I was just letting you know that is often is the case, you are wrong, that's all. Next time do your homework is all I was saying.

Thanks for letting me know what I meant. But since I must speak to you like a child just so we can be on even terms here, by me saying playing a fat loser isn't a big stretch for him, clearly I'm refering to his characters. If I were to say "it's not a big stretch for Al Pacino to play a cop"...would I mean because he's one in real life..or, gasp, in his roles?

Another "hint" you should take note of is I stated that I like Patton Oswalt. Why would I call him a fat loser in "real life?" Common sense would say that if I was refering to someone as a fat loser, chances are I wouldn't really like the guy.

No need to get snippy about this. Just calm down a bit, take a nap or something. Since apparently there's some kind of school analogy you keep going on about in this thread, perhaps you should "study" the posts more and think about it for a moment or two before spewing off on random **** and taking things clearly out of context. That's all I'm saying. Now, quit hijacking your own thread and try speaking like an adult from here on out.
