O.K. the stiffer of the two springs is for the tip of the barrel it works to flip barrel back to a shooting position. IT goes on one of the studs on the bottom or under the barrel. The little longer spring goes on a stud in the farthest back posistion of the gun ,top It is a two diametor type stud. one leg of the spring is hooked on to Saftey action to push the button/hammer,thing that releses the slid the other end of the springis hooked onto the trigger so that it pushes it back forward. it is quite the puzzle. buying a new gun might have been easier but the challange bothered me cause all I was doing was tring to reload the dang thing.
