Webley & Scott .177 Rebuild
by
I am looking for a rebuild kit or someone who can upgrade the airsystem on my break action rifle. This is a full size rifle with scope rail and target sights that my dad bought during the 80s I have used it quite a bit and would like to keep it in top shape.
Thanks

I've owned a RWS model 26 for quite a while... over twenty years. It's a great gun and I've bagged plenty of critters with it but I want to upgrade to something with more knock down power. I've had my sights set on the 350 Magnum in the .22 cal. I would appreciate any and all comments or reviews on the weapon. Thanks in advance - Bob, Davenport NY

I recently picked up an old looking air rifle for my 5 year old. It is marked Diana Mod.25.
It is very simmilar in appearance to the Mod.27 pictured in the lower thread that was for sale on Gunbroker.
I collect pre war German .22 sporters and trainers so I am familliar with German .22's but not air rifles. This little Diana looks to be pre war.
I'm curious as to when it may have been produced.
Thanks for any information,
R.Blue

The 25 was made for many years - pre-war guns may have a date code either stamped in the end of the stock butt or under the barrel right near the breech block (need to partly cock to see it); postwar into the 60's may have no date mark; late 60's and newer normally have a tiny date code stamped in the compression tube left rear, just at the point it enters the stock. Small details e.g. type of sights, trigger, and locking screws for the pivot bolts can help in dating.

I live in Thailand and cannot import an air gun. But I can if it's imported as a curio. I suppose that means, de-activated. What i need to know is there any dealers that will ship me an air rifle in two sections , or in a de-ativated state, I then can re-assemble as i receive the parts. Hopefully by - passing their ridiculous law.
