Malaysia: UFO sighting by Borneo villagers, photos

Villagers in the area around the city of Sibu in the Malaysian State of Sarawak on the island of Borneo got a real surprise when they looked up into the sky on January 17 2009.

They noticed a slightly luminous, bright pink disc travelling across the sky. "We were standing in front of my home when I looked up and noticed something strange in the sky. At first we thought it might have been a meteor until we saw a second identical object move towards the first one" Noted Mr Ong. "It was not flying in the manner of an airplane".

They attempted to get a shot of both UFOs in the same frame but were unable to, largely due to cloudy conditions. They did manage to get a clear picture of one of the craft before it disappeared under nearby clouds and another photo of the second UFO partially obscured by cloud cover....

The sighting lasted about two minutes.

UFO sightings are common in Malaysia: the largely devout Muslim population see no contradiction between their religion and the idea of alien beings. The Koran mentions that God created life throughout the universe. It is also written in the Koran that in the final days strange beings will use some type of magic tunnel (wormhole?) to get from their planet to ours and then wage war against humanity, only to be defeated by God who will step in to save our world.

Is that wormhole's entrance somewhere near Malaysia? Are these UFOs scouts checking on the faithful?
