Response to Missed movies

I think this is an excellent compilation of movies in the Mafia category (excluding the Tarantino flicks because I despise his movies and think he is a talentless hack, but I am but one man). I too am glad to see that Miller's Crossing made it on the list being a fan of the Coen brothers and mob movies alike and am also pleased to see On the Waterfront, a forgotten treasure amongst the youth of today. However, that being said, I fear that you have forgotten a diamond in the rough of mob movies. The movie to which I refer is Mean Streets, a triumph of a movie and the film that marked De Niro's first pairing with Scorsese. Also in my opinion, it was the only movie in which I have seen Harvey Keitel and didn't think him a pompous ass. In fact I found him to be an endearing and wholly relatable character which is rare in a Mafia movie. I appreciate your time and efforts. Thank you. Ben Brumley, movie connoiseur haha
