To try and explain knitting or crocheting here would be too difficult, you kind of need visual aid like attending knitting class or even borrow a book from the library. I can tell you that Crochet is very relaxing, Ive made a few blankets in my day and they are warm and cheap, once I made a blanket by pulling all old jumpers apart and rolling the wool up.....Good luck hope you learn this wonderful craft....

hi Lynda and thanks for the tips.
I have found some videos on yahoo which were a great help.
I just got my hands on crocheting and can't put the hook down now. I am a fist timer and it was frustrating at first but now i think i have passed.. LOL....
