Could someone direct me to a place that re solders the barrel.(Do you know the charge)
The solder joint is broke loose from the front sight blade to about 5 inches below it.I do not want to screw up this rifle it was my brothers who was killed in Vietnam in 1968.It has been in a closet at my mothers home all these years totally neglected.I have the seals working pretty good now at least it will hold air over night.
It is of sentelmental value for me but I wouldn't popping a few cans with it now and again.
I plan on polishing the brass barrel assembly and redoing the stock once it is fixed.
I know how to store this air gun properly by leaving a few pumps in her then pulling back the breech and holding the bolt while pulling the trigger when it is put away.
The serial # is F236723.I have no idea how old it is I looked at the Crosman site and it really doesn't tell you much about manufacture date for this rifle.I would guess early 60's or maybe late 50's
Any any help rendered would be very helpful.
