For what it is worth, I am just starting to like my Benjamin 392 pumper. This is a work out when you are trying to shoot accurately and control breathing. Here I am pumping the rifle and then I am all out of breath to take a shot.
With my GAMO CGX, one pull of the cocking lever and I am ready to rock and roll.
This is a very addictive sport. I find myself looking all over for innovations and other guns to learn about.
If there is a cure for this I hope I don't find out too soon, this is really enjoyable.

In my opinion, as far as performance, quality, and value, the Benjamin 392 can't be beaten. Anytime I have a pest issue, it's my go to gun. It's performance is equal to, if not slightly better than my RWS 34, and that gun costs at least $70 more depending where you shop. Plus it's compact, you can leave it fully pumped for extended periods of time, and the only maitanence it really needs is a drop of pelgunoil every few hundred shots.
Out of the box my 392 was sighted in perfectly. I can hit targets the size of padlocks at 25 yards with open sites. I've since purchased a 397, and HB22 pistol. I love the quality. Up next is a Silver Streak for me.
If pumping is that much of an issue, pump assist models are available.
