Help with Crossman 140 repair

I am re-sealing a Crossman 140. I got a seal kit from Ron Sauls, disassembled the gun, replaced all of the seals except the pump plunger seal. There was a plunger seal in the kit but I can't get the plunger rod apart to install the seal. It looks like a pressed fit to me. Is that correct? The gun will not pump up. Any help I could get to move me along on the project would be much appreciated.

You are correct. It is pressed on. I can't tell you any easy way to replace it. I have always sent pump rods in to a shop that could do them. Like Bryan or Precision Pellet, JG Airguns.
