hi all. just wanted to drop by to see how everyone's doing. myself...i'm doing good. quite busy with pedro penduko. i'm working with the same director i worked with in gnp and basta't kasama kita. jerome pobocan and trina dayrit respectively. my character is quite challenging. nice to be doing something different. will be taping for the promo this week. i'll be in homeboy and game ka na ba. am still not done with ronin. i may have 2 to 3 more taping days for that. that's all for now and hope all is well with everyone. take care and God bless.

sa july 6 nga ang show ng wowowee sa University of Illinois @Chicago Pavillion. Balita ko nga sold out ang mga tickets. parang nakita ko kanina sa tv na ang ticket price for the main floor is $120. juske, halos kapareho ng mga shows ng likes nila Barry Manilow.
baka mahirapan ang amiga mo to get tickets at this time. hindi lang mga taga Illinois ang manonood, pati mga neighboring midwest states (Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, Minnesota) pihadong dadagsa. 'lam mo kung si TJ eh kasama sa show, di ko palalampasin. makikipagbunong braso ako para makakuha ng ticket. pero hindi naman kasama si TJ kaya cool lang akesh. I'll just let the others enjoy the show. saka baka pag nanood ako eh ma-insecure lang ako kay Luningning at Milagring!!!!
Wowowee tickets? My nephew and my niece wanted to get tickets but until now, they could not get one! They want the $120 added $1 kaya $121 na...pero until now, wala pa! Naka-kaloka talaga!
Sarah Geronimo is coming to town too and the tickets cost as high as $128 - pre-selling pa ito ha. Mahal na talaga dito ang mga shows...! Tama si Talyn, daig pa ang mga plays dito!
no wonder, "in thing" sa mga celebs sa 'pinas ang magperform abroad. ang mahal ng ticket nila. one can't help but conclude na they make not just good, but very good tf, in $ pa. good for them. paano kaya ang pag tax sa kanila since their performance is done outside the country. pareho din kaya ng tax natin?
sana naman, nakakabahagi din kahit na katiting ang mga kawawang segment ng pinoy population sa good fortune ng mga successful entertainers. When one is given so much blessings, one has the moral obligation to share a tiny piece of that blessing, in some form or another, to the really less fortunate. am not talking about those who are only beginning their climb to fame and fortune, but those who are already at the top. Siguro naman many of them or all of those entertainers performing abroad are doing charitable works already.

Anyway, you are right with the celebrities' income. I don't really know how they declare their income and how they pay their taxes....but I guess, this has to be paid in the Philippines.
TJ has been active in endorsing projects for good cause. I hope the others will follow him....!
