Mayumi, who’s now called Daphne, lashes at Sigmund, and tells him about a certain twin! This puzzles Sigmund, but good thing Eleonor rushes to her aid, and covers her up, but later she discovers that Mayumi does in fact, have a twin. However, both mother and daughter decide to keep this a secret, as Mayumi doesn’t want to share her father and grandmother’s affections with Maningning.
A bothered Mayumi then pays Charles a visit. Unfortunately, he doesn’t want to do anything with her, and secretly proceeds to court Maningning instead! Charles then tells a desperate Mayumi to leave, and she tearfully does so. She cries as she drives away from him, but accidentally runs over her own mother instead!
Mayumi panics, and hurriedly drives away from the incident! Maningning rushes Virgie immediately to the hospital, and they discover that Virgie has gout! On the other hand, Sigmund gets sent over Batangas for work, while Rose sees Harry, who’s finally from prison!
Soon, Charles pays a visit to Maningning’s house, and wins Virgie’s heart, as he brings her alcohol! But just as the two start to get to know each other, Harry appears out of nowhere, and Virgie ends up telling him that Maningning and Mayumi are her kids from Sigmund, who took advantage of her before!
