Daphne rushes to Charles' house, and demands to know who his new girl is. Of course, she doesn't find anybody, and as Charles placates her, she asks him if he'll marry her. Charles then fidgets, and Daphne thinks he agrees. Unfortunately, Charles has already made up his mind to marry Maningning.
On the other hand, Sigmund's men kidnap one of Maningning's friends, and makes him one of his employees. Sigmund then starts to look for Maningning, which causes Chita to think that he's Maningning's sugar daddy.
Meanwhile, Rose gets shivers, as she sees the ghost of her past: Harry! His presence bothers her, and she asks her husband to leave the Philippines as soon as possible, but Charles doesn't want to, as he's determined to win Maningning's heart.
On the other hand, Habagat's teacher pays a drunk Virgie a visit, but before she could say anything, Maningning enters the scene, and discovers that her brother isn't attending school. She then heads over to Habagat's hideout, to demand for an explanation.
