I’ve been following showbiz for a quite awhile now and I noticed that abs cbn are obviously playing favorites when it comes to giving projects to their talent(s).

Below is my personal assessment of what’s going on. I may be wrong but whatever I write below is based on what I read, hear and see – and if you may find fault, feel free to correct me.

My basis for this analysis is because of the persistent question that keeps bugging me..why is it that Kristine Hermosa is not visible lately?..is this by choice or is this some kind of "career grounding" by her mother studio ABS CBN? i read of many posts that keep asking...bakit si Kristine naka tingga? why is that her career is frozen at the moment? After Banyera, she has no project for more than 4 months now. That's a long gap for a follow up, don't you think?

Looking back:

I noticed that after Kristine plunged into that “secret marriage” with her beau Diether Ocampo, her career start plummeting down. She had some intermittent bouncing back but it did not stayed long...gulong ng palad and banyera did good but the rest in between were forgettable.

Correct me if I am wrong but it may seem in showbiz if you try to do the right thing, you are doomed! Why did I say that? let me explain further by illustrating some facts without naming names..

Take for example:
Actress A = she is openly tagged as showbiz playgirl. She has been linked to every male actors or celebrities - to name a few…R.G., O.S, L.M., S.M, etc.. She has been rumored to be living in with her bfs but this reputation did not affect her star powers…she is still getting project after project. I wonder if she plunged into marriage with one of those guys then maybe it is a different story. Even if her show is a dismal flop she is still hot in the industry - and i just wonder why.

Actress B = she is openly tagged as lesbian. Her "rumored gf committed suicide because of her" and this talk has been circulating around without being dispelled. She even appeared in The Buzz and was asked about this w/c she gave a safe non-committal response. She was also rumored to be living in with a male partner even with the lesbian rumors circulating around. Even with that rumors, she is still enjoying her actress status with lots of projects.

Actress C = rumored to have been linked to some live in partners and was a subject of malicious gossip in the psat that she resorted to multiple abortions before she finally plunged into her present marital status. She has shows that did not rate well but she still have a lot of projects.

Actor D = rumored to be having a gay affair with a top executive who is responsible for his non stop projects in spite of his bad luck streak. It’s been proven that all his projects were dismal flops but he is still hot when it comes to his career because they say that his "gay benefactor" makes sure he is in every big budgeted project. He is also rumored to be involved with other clandestine affairs in spite of him being "married" (or was that really a fake one?).They say that's how he sustain his life style of the rich and famous..

Well, those are just the few of the obvious in the biz – the favored ones in spite of their reputations. Nothing or no one seem to slow them down...and now I am left with this question…how come in Kristine's case, it's different?

I wonder if Kristine decided to just live in with that guy and skip the “marriage thingy” - would it make any difference?? maybe just maybe, will she still be up there? Or are there other reasons behind why her stars is not as bright as it was?? or maybe my hunch is right that she is just not one of the “favored ones”?and if that's the case then…how unfortunate for her and her fans!

hello ms helen, just like you i am an avid richard gere fan! i love him and other great actors because i am hooked into hollywood movies. just recently, my friend twisted my arm into watching gulong ng palad dvds(with subtitles) that's how i got hooked wth kristine hermosa and tj trinidad. i just fell in love with them instantly - from start to finish.

as far as their movies are concerned - i've watched kristine's old movie and she was amazing in "all my life", and somehow in spite of his role, i loved tj's performance in "the promise". having watched them separately in a movie - i can't help wishing to see them together on the silver screen in a beautiful love story. hope our wishes will come true soon!
since then, i can't shake them off my system that's why i posted that lengthy post above hoping it will make a difference..i really want to see more of them...honestly, i dunno what got into me..but for tj and tin, i have no regrets

hi there, ms. movie fan, how are you?i read what you just posted re- kristine's career being cold nowadays, & i second the motion your sentiments,very unfair talaga ang nangyayari,hit naman ang pnb.tumaas pa rating nito bago nila idecide to end it,parang bang ininsinuate ng abs cbn na may follow up ang banyera, pero it's been 4mths. matagal tagal na yata iyon, wala pa rin..nahulaan ko na nga ang enumeration process mo eh, ang diko alam iyong actress c, but whoever she is the bottom line is unfair kay kristine hermosa ang mother studio niya at this point,sana kahit na sa mmk, or your song meron man lang, pero di tayo mawalan ng pag asa, i believe na may magandang project para kina tj & kristine , in the near future.....
