hello LHM happy.gif long time no post...nice to see you're back !

just to reinforce your theory about crying, let me post this - it's good to know that there's actually benefits in crying! read on...

Benefits of crying tears, science of crying, releasing toxins.

It sounds funny, but if you eat a lot you naturally have to release a lot into the toilet. Likewise, if you drink a lot, you're going to have a similar result. Crying is the same. But the crazy thing is that people do not know they are taking in painful feelings and painful thoughts, let alone understand how to release them from their system.

Crying is perhaps the easiest and fastest way to release emotional pain, but unfortunately it has become socially unacceptable for both men and women to cry in public. We are already aware of all the social stigmas attached with those who cry in public (ie: weakness, in need of attention, etc.), but what most people are not aware of is the new scientific studies that actually prove tears caused from 'emotional crying' carry toxins not normally found in the tear created to simply moisten the eye.

Crying, like sneezing, coughing and defocating, is a natural way of releasing toxins that are associated with various emotions: both those considered 'good' and those considered 'bad'.

Biochemist William Frey (Crying: The Mystery of Tears, Winston Press, Texas, 1977) compared the normal moisturizing tear with the tear caused by emotion and found that stressful tears contained ACTH or adrenocorticotrophic hormone. ACTH is a hormone associated with high blood pressure, heart problems, peptic ulsers and other physical conditions closely related to stress.

The miracle of tears:

September 11 2009, 11:14 AM

Evidence of our Creator is all around usfrom the miracle of the atoms intricate internal structure, to the design of the most complex piece of matter in the universe, the human brain. Scientists have found Gods greatness even in one of the most minute phenomenahuman tears.

Emotional tears are a response which only humans have, for only people can weep. All animals that live in air produce tears to lubricate their eyes. But only people possess the marvellous system that causes crying.

One of the most obvious functions of tears is to lubricate your eyeball and eyelid, but they also prevent dehydration of your various mucous membranesand anyone with the dry eye problem knows how painful this can be.

A severe lack of this lubrication produces a condition requiring medication or therapy to save the victims eyesight.

Another important function of tears is that they bathe your eyes in lysozyme, one of the most effective antibacterial and antiviral agents known. Without it, eye infections would soon cause most victims to go blind.

Cry and feel better
One amazing discovery is that tear production may actually be a way to aid a person to deal with emotional problems. This finding lends some basis to the expression, To cry it out helps a person feel better. Scientific studies have found that after crying, people actually do feel better, both physically and physiologicallyand they feel worse by suppressing their tears

so there you go...crying is healthy and the good thing is, crying while watching a dramatic soap is something you'd rather have than be crying beacuse of your personal problems happy.gif so it goes without saying that this soap will be beneficial to the viewers!!!
