I feel Drag racing is another victim of the times and the typical monkey see monket do theory.
As fans followed their neighbors to the speedway races they didn't know anymore about that racing than they did drag racing, they just did it because of the publicity and to keep up with the Jones's.
Drag racing will only survive due to the efforts of the hardcore Drag racers efforts so let's quit crying about FM and get a Drag racers association going and each of us pay a membership dues and maybe the vendors will follow. If they don't, big deal we can be self supporting and still race.
I feel it's worth a try but we will never know until you find a big name to suugest this to the Drag racing body.
Just a thought.
