Thanks Duane. The car Im running TOP STOCK with is my OLD 63 Dodge, which I'm bringing out of retirement for this race. It can run NHRA OR IHRA, and I'll run it as an A car or a B car. The hold up has been getting some GOOD heads, without SEATS. I think I finally got a pair that ONLY need 3 intake seats.
After this car is running (30-60 days) I will then dismantle the "LAWMAN" car and turn it into a AA/SA race hemi. This will be an easy changeover, and Im just as far along on the engine as I am on the Dodge engine. All the wedge guts out of LAWMAN will go into a third car, a 64 POLARA steel car that can go A or B also. So bu the end of this year, GOD WILLING, I should have THREE cars. The IHRA CAR will be BULLIT PROOF and I'll be able to run the hell out of it in both NSS and IHRA. The 63 DODGE will run top stock, and the few NHRA races I MUST attend. The third car will be a test muel, a Saturday night special, a driver...PIZZA PALACE, a storage depot for spare parts, and maybe a FORSALE item. Should run 10.40s in great air.
