Lots of race pistons when made in standard size are actually .005 over. That way you can
use a used block and just hone it .005 to make sure the bore is straight. You should check
for this first. Then get a 454 block. I was rebuilding an engine that appeared to be a
STD.427 that turned out to be a 402 bored .125!! 3 cylinders were leaking. That block
