I agree with all your points , Aaron. It might well have to qualify as a "dump" to fit within the budget constraints I've laid out
I was kinda hoping that folks wouldn't get too tied up in the construction costs of the project. I was kinda hoping, rather, to see where they'd put their emphasis with the reminder of their budget. It was a tad disheartening to see so many responses of simply, "It can't be done, give us more money." I for one don't think tracks make much money (if any), even though it's obvious they have a lot tied up in them. I, also for one, don't b*tch to them or about them. To me, the only bad dragstrip is a closed one.
We could start over with $100 million, but then I think those things that the average competitor sees and frequently complains about would be such a tiny part of the equation, you could almost file them under "miscellaneous".
