The problem with pro class drag racing is it is too boring too watch, your trying to put it in front of people who only relate racing to a fiery crash on sportcenter highlights and now to make it palatable to the trailer park ranks we get in car radios???? Like Bruce Allen really needs a crew chief to tell him how to back up a Pro stock ride into the line, or its going the way of Nascar and trying to create a WWF atmosphere of competition. Lets face it some sports are just not for T.V. or every type of sports fan and quit trying to make it fit. What really chaps my ass is the $60 admisission to a 2 hr qualifying event at night for the fireworks. I live in Indy and used to be able to afford to go to the nationals mostly to see whats new and that is the only time that the performance manufacturers are available to me for first hand help or info. What a shame they are trying to ram a really boring t.v. sport down everyones throats because it will kill it soon. Nuff ranting for now!
