More air pressure in the slicks will improve r/t and 60' until you spin and then both will suffer. I have raced the same car/engine combo with 4 different trans/converter combos footbrake and transbrake and although I have rarely had traction problems the faster 60' tracks always r/t quicker. A person just has to be aware of the tracks particular beam setup that is for sure!!!
