It would appear the Pro Tree format isn't as rare as I thought.

This is part of an e-mail that I received from Merle Grabhorn, in response to my asking where it was that he had run into the single Pro Tree/All Run bracket class:

"...This is Tulsa Intl in Tulsa Oklahoma. However, Bandimere near Denver has put forth some races using this same format. A lot of racers set out. Rumors are flying that Heartland in Topeka will try it and again, a lot of racers have said they'll set out. I don't think this is a landmark case..."

I'd have to agree. This apparently isn't breaking any new ground. I sure hate to think that anyone thinks it's a way to make combining classes even further more palatable to the masses. :-( I think they've already been combined too much as it is. Take care. Tom Worthington.
