Foul starts and breakouts are only minor infractions. If both drivers breakout, both aren't disqualified. Only the driver with the worse breakout infraction is disqualified.
Why disqualify both drivers in a dual foul infraction scenario?
There are only a few situations where both drivers are disqualified. If both drivers cross the lane boundary line, if both drivers deep stage in the Super categories, and if both drivers leave the starting line before the start system is activated.
