Tom,
As of right now, they are not forbidden. Can't speak of the future though.
Well, if you weren't there....you missed a good time. There were 14 cars in Outlaw, 12 for 7.00, and Pure Street Radial had 5.
OUTLAW
W- Ken Sheffield @ 5.24
R/U- Lance Styck @ 5.76
*Lance lost control just before the traps, spun and hit the rail on the other side. He is fine, thankfully, but the car did suffer some extensive damage to the left side. Also, the Scranton's had the low number tonight with a 5.17, but, they had some transmission problems and had to foot brake the 2nd round and lost with their 5.30 to a 5.38. We look forward to seeing them back again, they are good people.
7.00 Heads-Up
W- Brad Cleveland @ 6.93
R/U- Ronnie Newell @ 6.76
*This was an awesome race down to the finish line. Brad pulled up at the end, and even though they both broke the 7-second barrier, Brad pulled the reins in more than Ronnie.
Pure Street
W- Christopher Lang @ 6.96
R/U Paul Guhl @ 7.55
*These guys looked like they were leaving on slicks!!! This will be a fun class.
Thanks to everyone that showed up both as racers and spectators. The next race is September 23rd and all 3 classes have had their purses increased. 7.00 also will no longer have a minimum weight. Check my site for details on all the classes.
