why is it that parents keep promoting their own kids here. there is a far greater hockey community that exceeds saskatoon my friend, and I can guarantee you that the majority of draft picks will be coming out of other zones. I have a co-worker who was scouting there on behalf of one of the western conference WHL teams, and from what he has said, the most exciting two players to watch came out of Zone 1 and Zone 7. good luck to all the players, but remember, there is much more to life than the draft for cripes sakes.

Well this is a guess and of course no guess by you.
Every year there is 40 - 50 kids drafted from Saskatchewan and quite a few from Saskatoon. My guess is 13 from Saskatoon which is lower than in the past years. No top end 1st round guys but players in their own right.
Zone 1 will have the most players drafted is my guess,with zone 6 following behind.

7th round : Kost, Johnson (goal), Boes (goal)
8th round : Pongracz, Klien (goal)
9th round :
10th + : Swenson, Saunderson

Well I had every guy from Saskatoon on my list only trouble was I had too many and most too early.
