actually. And I can't believe I'm really saying this!
I have felt as you feel Ash, you
know it! I've ranted about that same thing long ago and it is something that the WWE has done to KANE in the past! You're very right on that! I remember ranting on and on and on about this very topic forums ago - don't get me wrong!
However, I must say this...maybe it's because I've been 'away' from wrestling for awhile and now have been doing a LOT of watching videos and reading results and commentary to try to 'catch up'...maybe it's because I've tried to come 'back' with "Fresh Eyes' this time and am trying to keep an open mind with the WWE??!! Maybe...but I feel that
myabe they (WWE) are doing what they did with Taker for so so long? Maybe they KNOW that KANE is a strong wrestler, a strong charater who has the capability to carry the show, carry another wrestler and that any wrestler that they add to the storyline or any character that they add KANE in their storyline, will shine!! I remember thinking about how patient KANE must be to let the WWE throw him around like a rag doll - giving him no top chances and keeping him 'held back'! But, I wonder if they really are doing that now?? Maybe I'm just blind and don't "get it" as I've said before, I'm not all caught up...but just from what I've been readling and what cathing up, it seems that they are letting KANE shine...but in a different way. And perhaps that alone makes him happy - to help other wrestlers shine right along with him? Just a crazy idea...I don't know. I just remember how they (WWE) would pair Taker up with other wrestlers and how they would not be forgotten - how Taker would help the other one shine but at thes ame time, Taker would shine as well! I didn't see it at first but thanks to Qayin way back when, I really understood and started to appreciate this after talking to her for quite awhile about this very thing. Maybe - just maybe, that's what happening here? And then it's an honor almost because the WWE feels that you are such a strong asset that they need you to carry the show...
Tell me if I'm way off here...I'm by no means saying that KANE shouldn't have his own strong title streak and take the top of the top!!! That would kick major ass! I'm just trying to think about what it was like when Taker couldn't get to the top again to save his life...but then again, he'd had the top before too. I think that KANE may just very well be happy where he is and with what he's doing...he always has been all about the fans, right? He's still out there and getting air time! Maybe not main event air time but that might be in the cards still...they'd be crazy not to let it be!
Alright, I've rambled long enough. I was just trying explain what I was feeling and hope that I was able to explain it well enough for now. I do understand Ash...I do!
