Kitten you DID lean more toward the whole thing being absurd. *Gently scratching Kitten's head* You guys are more level headed than I!

I guess I was kinda HOPING he'd be retiring - I fid it harder and harder to stomache WWE product when it doesn't involve KANE. I know it's not geared toward people like me . . . 'Tin is still very much into it all, and I get a kick out of the fact his friends STILL follow their faves, right along with the music groups and movie icons they follow! And it doesn't seem like the numbers in the arenas are dwindling too badly either.

But, I find it interesting that all the guys I work with have stopped watching wrestling all together. They used to have PPV parties, would go to the live shows in groups - it was fantastic! They'd always sit around during break and at lunch after an event and talk about the wrestlers . . . current and passed/past . . . and bring up their favorite matches and feuds. Now - they really only talk about football, baseball and soccer. Once in a blue moon in a crimson sky, they'll bring up wrestling - but that's only to say "Stacy Kiebler was on Dancing with the Stars", of "I heard another wrestler is dong a movie", or "Yeah - I picked up a flier about some wrestling legends coming to town . . ."

AWK! I started out giving KUDOs to Kitten too - and ended up rambling . . . again!
