KANENITE CENTRAL BREAKROOM

There're times when you just gotta give a shout out about KANE, his wins and challenges, his status in the WWE and the storylines he's in, his movies, books and fan appearances too!

Just a friendly word or two:

»1« In the past we've seen some postings from those who don't seem to understand that this is a KANE fan friendly site.  There will be no KANE bashing in here.

»2« We'd also like to make it understood that KANE himself doesn't run this forum, nor does he come here.  Please don't post messages to KANE hoping he'll respond or email you.  He won't.

»3«  NO bashing of ANY wrestling character and/or the WWE.  Whether we like them or not, these men and women work hard to entertain.  Me mum always told me "If ye can't say a nice thing about a body, say nuthin' atall . . ."

»4«  Foul language and pornographic drivel will getcha banned with a missive sent to your internet provider.  Flamin' any other Kanenites in the BREAK ROOM will getcha the same consequences.

OK! Shall we get started?!

where he talks about the talent pool being "thin".

Titled "Soapbox Time! J.R. has opinions, too!", he sweats nothing in giving readers his POV. Being a blog, readers are allowed to leave comments - and most of those left already are in agreement with Good Ol'e JR's views.

Of course, I take issue with what the Man Under the Black Resistol Hat offers. The burr seems to be the increase of "sizzle" to the wwe programs and less in-ring wrestling. Where he says the wwe is short on talent - that of every 100 athletes one would look at, maybe 1 or 2 would have the talent and ability to grasp the at the gold and run with it - I say that may well be ~ but what of the talent that is already IN the wwe, on the SmackDown!, RAW and ECW rosters? On each roster, more than half of all the grapplers are MAIN EVENT QUALITY, yet the wwe continues to use the same few in main event spots and more over the edge tANDa each and every week.

Of course the answer to that is that the demographic target of males between the ages of 17 and 34 demands more of the 'sizzle' and, it appears, Triple H/HBK ~ Vince/Shane with their pants down ~ King Booker being dressed ~ Vicky/Chavo v. Rey than the ring action, shenanagans and storylines we "veterans" remember and want to see. I say take the birds in hand, which are under and over the 'TARGET' demographic, and give them what they have demonstrated they will pay to see. One can still aim for the target and continue to keep those already on board happy!

I don't think the wwe is short on ring talent - but I do see (and have for a long time) that they are shortsighted on what to do with the magnificent talent they have.

Just my ha'penny's worth ~ Care to share yours?
