Quick question -- Diablo stingy?

Hey -- has anybody actually gotten anything worthwhile dropped from The Big Guy (Diablo)?
The last half dozen times I've beaten him I've got nothing but crap: Ring Mail of Everyone (in H/H!!), merciless staff of TP, etc, etc...
I keep assuming I'm just on an unlucky streak, and someday he'll drop the Shaman or something...
Is it just me -- or does the ArchBishop (and his gang) seem to drop better stuff than lev 16?
