The New York Times today printed an article about capital punishment being used as a punishment for child molestation in China. It said that two months ago in the province of Tsang Tswai seven convicted child molesters were put to death. This is not unusual, but what made this case distinctive was the manner in which these criminals were excecuted: they were beheaded. All seven pedos were beheaded in quick fashion, one after the other. The affair was made public in order to emphasize the state's message that child molestation will not be tolerated. After the beheadings, all seven pedo heads were erected on spikes for viewing by the public. Perhaps the Chinese know something we don't about how to control the monstrous urges of child molesters. |
