I sat alone at local cafe watching other couples as they all came in for a light lunch on their break from work. I had the day off and it was much needed as I was going through tough times right now. I had just gone through another beating and he had done it for the last time this time! There were other times, yes, but I couldn't let go...something made me hold on, something I couldn't explain or comprehend myself. I was reluctent to be sitting in this cafe today, as something would happen that would change my life forever.

"Is this seat taken?" A tall figure asked looking down at me.
"No, go ahead, I'm just here for a light lunch." I looked up at a familiar face, but couldn't place where I had seen it before.
"Thanks sug, I'm doing the same, have ta get away for a bit, ya know?" He smiled and then sat down to my level.
"Yeah, boy do I ever! The feeling is all too well known." I looked up from my coffee and caught his eye.
"What is a fine young lady doing sittin' alone on a day like today?" The dark but handsome man asked.
"Oh, I'm just taking in all the day has to offer. I'm not really one for going out to lunch but something made me come out today." I felt as though I could open up to this man, although not knowing him from Adam.
"Well, what's the occassion then?" He looked straight at me.
"Well, honestly, I'm trying to figure out just how I'm gonna get rid of a nasty bastard from my life and start over, if ya really want to know? I'm on my last nerve and last night was it!" I played with my coffee cup and noticed that this man was listening, honestly listening to me and taking in ever word, ever breath I breathed.
"Well, ya need any help sug?"
"Nah, I got it I think. I just have to stick to my guns and realize enough is enough! Thanks though. What is fine man doing here alone on a day like today?" I asked and then dropped my head down again.
"Well, just out for a walk and noticed a bright girl sitting alone in a dinner...well, that and needing to get away for a bit." He smiled with his green eyes sparking like gems.
"Ah! I see." I smiled and shyed away again.
"I'm doing a show tonight, wanna come and bring a friend as well, it will be a blast, we'll go out after and have a few drinks. Things will be better for ya soon sug...keep 'ur head up darlin' - nothin' should get a pretty gal like you down, nothin'!" He got up and reached in his pocket and handed me two tickets to the WWF event at the arena in town, turned around and smiled. "See ya tonight, don't forget, I'll be expectin' ya!" He turned to walk out and once more smiled as he left the door to the cafe.
I just sat there and smiled, wondering why in the world he noticed me and how he knew something was goin' on with me. What a day and even moreso what a night ahead. :::who would I bring, what would I wear? I don't need another guy to worry about, especially a guy who's famous and travels.::: I let out a huge sigh and then paid for my meal and got up to leave as well.

I decided to bring my friend Samantha, Sam for short as she was huge wrestling fan! I had seen it a few times but didn't pay too much attention to it. My roommate, ex loved wresting and had plenty of suvoniers and wrestling mechandise around the apartment. I was getting ready and turned around after getting dressed to run into a picture on a poster of the man who entered the cafe this afternoon...The Undertaker was written under his picture. :::mmmm...I wonder. Why? I still don't get it.::: I finished getting ready and then picked up Sam to go the event. She was excited as hell and was so happy that I thought of her when picking a friend to go with. She loved wrestling and loved The Undertaker.
"I can't believe you talked to The Undertaker! Oh My God, what happened?!" Sam asked as she got in the car.
"Nothing much, he sat down and asked what was wrong and why I was alone in the cafe at noon time. That's all, nothing more." I started driving to the arena.
"WOW! I can't believe it...no way!" She was jumping in her seat with excitment. "AND we're going out after the show?! I can't believe this, pinch me please!"
"Yes, but you have remain calm, don't make a scene and don't act stupid...I didn't mean that. Just don't get too excited. I am just doing as he asked and nothing more. You know how I feel about men right now." I turned the car into the parking lot across the street from the center and we started towards the arena.

He was fighting the the main event, the last fight with Angle and Booker T. The two were fighting The Undertaker and his brother Kane. The other matches were fun to watch as well, this was my first event and to my surprise was more fun than i thought it would be. Sam was still jumping around and excited! She was yelling and screaming for her favorites and knew the whole story front to back. I was just there under request and still alittle down from last night. I know that this man I met at the cafe today was giving me the tickets as to get my mind off of things for a few hours, but it was hard.
Finally, his match, the main event. The music blast out the speakers above us and the thunder of a motorcycle roaring soon to see that same man I met today at noon coming out on his bike down the ramp to cirle to ring right in front of us. He did a little head tilt our direction and made way for the ring. Kane was next coming down the ramp after a hellacious thunder of flames from the entrance. Little to my knowledge another one was just around the corner...as he made his way for the center of the ring, stood in the dead center, brought his mosterous arms up and with a huge, loud boom and flames from all four corners, brought his arms down and flung his head back! ::

AMN! What a presence! What an entrance. This man is powerful::: I screamed my delight and stood up with Sam. I was getting into things a little more now and waited as their opponents made their way to the ring. The bell rang and the match was on.
I was standing through the whole thing, screaming and yelling, just as every other fan in the arena was doing at this point. The match was long, back and fourth, each team was close to the win, but not yet. Finally, The Undertaker and Kane double teamed Booker T who now lay motionless on the mat and Kane went for the pin and the win! The crowd went nuts and the two stood in the ring taking in all the emotion, all the praise! I was going wild...it felt great to let go finally, have some fun! :::Thank you Undertaker, you don't know what you have done for me. This evening was GREAT::: I screamed along with the rest of the crowd and then it was time for us to leave.
We were heading for the door as I felt a hand on my shoulder, I spun around and a found a man standing behind me.
"You're to meet The Undertaker at the east door in ten mintues." He said in loud low voice and then left.
"Thanks!" I said and the man was off.
We walked to the east door and then waited for him to show up.
About ten mintues later, a tall dark figure headed towards us.
"Hi'ya sug, we'll take the underground as it's less people to mess with." He said and smiled, walking toward the door to the underground.
"OK" I said and followed.
"Who's your friend?" He turned around
"Her name is Samantha, Sam for short." I turned toward Sam, "And I assume you know who this is." I smiled at her and nudged her.
"Hi, I'm a huge fan of yours, thanks for the great show and night." Sam said and shook his hand.
"Hey, not a problem, your friend here seemed to have been having a bad day, so it's just a little somethin' to help out and bring her spirits up I hope!" He smiled again and then started walking again.
As soon as we got to the other end, he walked up to a car, just an average one, black. He opened the doors for us and then he got into the driver's seat.
"Where are we goin' tonight?" I asked from the back seat.
"It's a surprise, well actually not really, just a local bar, unless you have another idea?" He looked up at us in the rear view mirror.
"No, sounds fine to me." I smiled up at him.
He started driving toward the exit of the parking ramp and on to the bar.
We talked in the car, he turned the tunes on and we had a blast. Singing, talking, laughing...so much fun I had forgotten what it was like to have fun, and with a man at that!
We arrived at the bar and there were more people there...others from the show, other wrestlers. It was a big party almost. I had a few drinks and so did Sam...neither one of us were big drinkers. It was just fun to be away and out!
I ended up talking to Kane most of the night actually. He was telling me things about wresting and his career. It was fun to hear about him and his story. I never really talked to a famous person before, much less a wrestler. Later he asked me about me, and I was shy at first, but ended up opening up to him eventually. Taker as they called him, came around every so often "checking up on us" and making sure I was ok. I smiled at him and nodded and then he slapped Kane on the back and told him to be gentle and laughed. He was only kidding I assume as this man didn't seem like he'd beat a fly...that not being true as he was a wrestler I know, however right now he was the most gentle, sweet, and concenred guy I'd ever talked to.
Later that night, Sam and I met up and Taker came up behind us. We were all tired and ready to go, even the big partier that Taker was, he asked us if we were ready and we both nodded and smiled. It was off to the car and back to the parking ramp that we left our car in. After saying good bye and thanking Kane for his time and kindness. He told us to look him up next time he was in town wrestling again. He had enjoyed tonight very much and was happy to know he had friends here, that dosen't happen much, especially females!
Taker took us back to our car and said good night as well, I thanked him for a wonderful night and for helping in ways he didn't know probably. He nodded and smiled with his bright green eyes glowing once again. I gave him a hug and he handed me a piece of paper and then hugged Sam and gave her his autograph as proof she was "hangin' out with Taker" and laughed once more before we both got in our cars to go home for the night.
I got in the car and opened the piece of paper he handed to me.
"You don't need to let others bring you down, especially a gal like YOU who can get what she wants and doesn't deserve to be treated badly. Don't let others push you around, stand your ground and keep your head up! I'll be here for you always,
The Undertaker (Mark)
Keep Rollin'"
I smiled and then sat there in the car for a moment not saying anything.
"Are you ok?" Sam asked and then put her hand on my arm.
"Yeah, I'm doin' fine!" I smiled and then folded the paper, and began to drive.
"I'm doin' fine, and I'm gonna be doin' even better tomorrow!" I smiled at Sam and took her hand to sqeeze it.
"Things are lookin' up for this girl!" We drove to Sam's house, I dropped her off and then told her to call tomorrow after her classes. She thanked me for the awesome night and ran up to the door.
After I saw she was inside, I pulled away and went home.
What a night, what a guy, and what a day tomorrow will be. I feel as though I can take on the world. And it was all for one man who took time to care and to notice, one man who opened up and touched another! A night I'll never forget and a day that my Ex will never foget tomorrow. Now that I have confidence and a fresh reminder of just who I am!
