Thanks Ford

I was in a bad accident yesterday in my 2005 Focus ST. But I am here today a bit sore, but alive. I want to thank Ford for building a safe small car. All the safety devises worked seat belt, airbag, and crumple zones all kept me safe. I hit the front driver side tire of a 30' box truck and bounced off the Jersey barrier at about 40 mph. It was a snow covered and icy highway. I think what happened is a woman skidded and lost control of her car, and the guy in the box truck over corrected trying to avoid hitting her and came right across 3 lanes of traffic sideways right in front of me. I just remember saying "this is going to hurt" and I closed my eyes.
