Well, I guess to sum it up, you could say, there's three reasons why there's so little crime in Mayberry. There's Andy, and there's me, and [patting gun] baby makes three.
A neighbor aquired it a few years ago. Two years ago I rebuilt the carbs, which were gonked solid. It only has 4K on it. It runs OK but it has not had a careful tune yet, so that is where I have to go next. Carefully set the valve clearance, then the ignition and then the carbs. The seat was removed to be recovered but the recoverer lost the pan so I just bought one on Ebay. The front brakes need to be bled. I will also have to set the clutch and I think the voltage reg is out. So, a few things to do and then we will see what happens.
