I was just over at the WIKI(?) and saw your artical about Harland Sharp Roller Rockers. I bought my set back in 1983 for my 429 and just last year put them on my 351C, by looking at your photos, I believe I was given the brandX version. I don't believe this will hurt anything(other than slightly less lift/dura.)but what do you think? By the way the geometer looks to be OK and I do seem to get the lift and dura. my cam card advertize(within a few points).

You probably will be fine, the brand x ones are close enough for street use and an occasional 6500 rev or 2. We ran BBC cranes on a late model stock car back in '84 and it ran fine all summer. Back then the Ford and BBC shared the same p/n.

I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep on them as long as the are tracking on the center of the valve stem and you are not bending any push rods ( a problem we did have on that circle track engine- not knowing ny better we just upgraded to 3/8" push rods and guide plates)

good luck

btw this is an on topic question and you could copy/paste it to the main forum and I'll just delete this one later happy.gif

Well, I guess to sum it up, you could say, there's three reasons why there's so little crime in Mayberry. There's Andy, and there's me, and [patting gun] baby makes three.
