Ok, just had to get that out. Two projects going, got shut down on both of them this morning already. Cant find a water outlet for wifes new motor. Cant get the rubber bushing pressed out of my leaf springs to install caltrac bars on mine. I had alot of other choice words but felt I shouldnt post them here. Sorry for the short rant. Just had to share with somebody.

Well, I guess to sum it up, you could say, there's three reasons why there's so little crime in Mayberry. There's Andy, and there's me, and [patting gun] baby makes three.

Bit O relief!! (STRESS!!!)

Got up this morning and went down to the local shop to use thier 20 ton press. Took the leaf springs and the new aluminum bushings. Ten minutes later I was loading them back up in the truck and on my way back home with new bushings installed. The shop is about 200 hundred yards from the house. Easy. I got home installed the caltracs with all new hardware and new rear end. Slid it all back under the car and got the front bolts in before I had to go to work this evening. Hopefully I will get the shackles on in the morning before I crash out and go to bed. I'll be working all this weekend but hope to get the car back on the road and to the track by next weekend. I dont remember when I had it out last but it was 40 degrees and a cold front blew in when I was there. Probably January.

New converter, gears, spool, Caltracs and custom carb work done.

This project is drawing to a close. Then maybe we can see the racecar on the racetrack. Maybe. Then I'll have more time to dedicate to my wifes Mach 1. Her new motor is still in the living room. I think I was susposed to put it in her car today, uh oh.
