How far away is the IP?

I've noticed that while you can place close to a hundred plugins with no problems, as the number rises the more distant ones (>200miles) start to ghost. This sometimes leads to some spectacular but frustrating "partial" ghosting effects.

How far is the player's IP from the CRC?
